Following 15 years working in hospitality, ending as an Operations Director for a small company, Josh decided to leave to start a new career somewhere with meaning and fulfilment where he could make a difference. He has always had a passion for people, and the experience of managing teams and helping them grow was the aspect of hospitality he had enjoyed the most.

He joined Malsis Hall at the beginning of 2023 and straight away knew it was what he had been looking for. Every day he has the chance to make a difference in someone’s life whether it be big or small. He quickly became a Senior Recovery Worker and was voted as one of the Speak Up Champions where he has been able to continue to support not only Service Users but his colleagues as well.

In his spare time Josh plays ice hockey for a team in Leeds, rides his motorcycle and visits various animal sanctuaries.
